Hi! I'm Luke, and I have a passion for telling stories.

I am from Ellsworth, Kan., a small town in central Kansas, but currently live Scranton, Pa. I spent a summer in Stevens Point, Wis,. not just for the internship experience, but also for the challenge of moving and adjusting to a completely new area. For that same reason I took my current job as the night police reporter for The Times-Tribune.

I have a strong interest in multimedia journalism — print, photography, videography, online and mobile media.

Through work as a freelancer, three separate internships, and on staff at the campus newspaper, I have have gained over three years of experience as a multimedia journalist.

Specialties and Skills:
Feature and hard news writing, multimedia reporting and editing.
Proficient use of: Final Cut Pro, iMovie, iPhoto, NewsGate, InCopy, as well as Nikon and Cannon digital cameras.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite programs such as InDesign, Photoshop and Premiere.
Basic knowledge of HTML.
